Upcoming Author Visits:
1)Celebrate Black History Month with Anne E. Schraff, author of over 200 juvenile books will come and talk about Harriet Tubman and many other prominent African-Americans throughout history. Seating is Limited, Please arrive early. Thursday, February 28th @ 4pm.
2) Lauren Myracle Author of several tween and teen novels will be at the SV branch from 10-11:30 am. She will sign books and take questions and answers. You can pre-order your books from Yellow Book Road Bookstore (619) 463-4900.
3) Fantasy Adventure Author, Kevin Gerard will do a presentation along with a question and answers. Discussing his series Conor and the Crossworlds. There will be a limited amount of books given away so come on by. Friday, March 14th, 3:30 p.m.
4) Author Visit! Helen F. James writer of “S is for S'mores: A Camping Alphabet” and “E is for Enchantment: A New Mexico Alphabet”, they will be available for purchase at a special price of $10 (including tax). Helen F. James will read from her books, answer any questions, and sign autographs! Wednesday, May 14th at 3p.m.
5) Author Visit. Meet and Great Dr. TEA, author of the Ultimate Tea Diet. Learn the differences between different types of teas, how to properly brew tea, cook with tea rubs, and the effect of tea on the metabolism. Tuesday, May 27, 6:00 p.m.
